Complete Reconstruction and Modernization of a Family House
From a deteriorated structure to a modern villa with full energy-efficient retrofit and subsidy support
This project involved the comprehensive reconstruction of an existing family house, including demolition of the upper floor, full ground floor waterproofing and drainage, and the construction of a new, fully functional second storey.
The building’s original mixed masonry structure was preserved where possible, with extensive structural reinforcement, insulation, and installation of modern underfloor heating. New energy-efficient technologies were incorporated to meet today’s standards for thermal performance and indoor comfort.
The project also included complete landscaping and exterior adjustments, transforming the property into a modern villa while maintaining its original character. The entire process was carried out with full administration and approval of subsidy funding under the New Green Savings (Nová zelená úsporám) program.
