New Panel Timber House – RD Rýmařov, Prague Jahodnice
Prefabricated Timber Construction Focused on Energy Efficiency and Fast Assembly
This detached family home was built as part of the RD Rýmařov residential development in Prague – Jahodnice, using prefabricated timber panel technology. The system combines factory-produced wall, ceiling, and roof panels with rapid on-site assembly, ensuring excellent precision, minimized construction errors, and a significantly shortened building time.
The load-bearing structure consists of a timber frame filled with mineral wool insulation, sheathed with gypsum-fibre boards providing rigidity, fire resistance, and acoustic comfort. The building envelope features a contact external insulation system with a durable facade finish.
Inside, drywall partitions and ceilings were installed, with electrical systems integrated into wall and ceiling cavities. The house meets low-energy standards, emphasizing airtightness, insulation, and compatibility with mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems.
The project was completed as a turnkey solution, including all interior finishes, bathrooms, doors, and flooring.
