Modern Energy-Efficient Home Using Advanced Timber Panel Technology
This project represents another stage of the RD Rýmařov residential development in Prague – Jahodnice, built using prefabricated panel timber construction technology. This method ensures fast on-site assembly, high precision, and excellent energy performance.
The structure consists of a timber frame filled with high-performance insulation materials, sheathed in multiple layers for superior thermal and acoustic performance. All wall and ceiling panels are manufactured off-site in a controlled factory environment, guaranteeing consistent quality, precise joints, and dry construction without moisture-related issues. On-site work focuses on rapid assembly, installation of interior systems, drywall ceilings, and an external thermal insulation system.
The house meets low-energy housing standards, featuring mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, and was delivered as a turnkey project, including full facade finishing, flooring, bathrooms, and interior details.
